ABC had some surprises in store for as they unveiled their 2013 Fall Lineup this morning. Among them was the downsizing of Dancing with the Stars (which will now only air once a week with the results included each week), moving The Neighbors to Friday and holding Suburgatory for midseason. One not so big surprise was the inclusion of two new series, the Rebel Wilson comedy Super Fun Night getting the plum post-Modern Family slot, and the Marvel comics adaptation The S.H.I.E.L.D. opening up a new programming block on Tuesdays. Both have a great shot at success and we’ll see if the Once Upon a Time spinoff, Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, can make magic in the somewhat cursed 8pm Thursday slot…. Also of note, many of the dramas like Revenge and red-hot Scandal will run for two 12 episode blocks bridged by new “limited” series.
